RC Cornhole Begins Spring 2008

RC Cornhole - Season Two !

We will be starting the second season of the RC Cornhole League Spring of 08.

We will play on MONDAY NIGHTS !!!

We will have the opportunity to play INDOORS, Outdoors on both Pavement and Grass. We will be alternating the Outdoor surfaces if we can.

Tenatively we will have TWO classes of play ( If the interest is higher than expected )

CLASS A Will be for the top ranked 8 or so players, based on last years Hole In Percentages.

CLASS B Will be for the rest 8 or so players and the newbies.

Players in both classes will play each other, but only the points played against players in your class will count as official "Class Scoring". That will allow us to have three catagories of champions, CLASS A, CLASS B, and OVERALL.

New rules :

1.) Each match will be BEST OF THREE
2.) Half hour time limit for each match of three games.
3.) Game Night will consist of TWO matches per player. You will play two different players each game night.

Sign ups will be announced !

New Rules !

OK... there will be some additions and changes to the Official RC Standardized Rules when we resume play pretty soon.

1. We are going to start enforcing the "Foul Line" / "Foot Faults".
A "Foot Fault" is when you step across the Foul Line.
( RULE )If you step across the FOUL LINE, the bag you just threw does not count, but the END RESULT of the throw WILL COUNT. Either Positive or Negative, the end result WILL ount.

2. Stepping across the FOUL LINE and interrupting your opponant before your opponant has thrown thier last cornbag.
( RULE ) It will be considered a FOUL and the opponent will be allowed the option to throw either at an OPEN BOX, clear of all cornbags or choose to throw as the bags lay.

3. Corn Bag Abuse, Throwing Cornbags in Frustration, Jesting or Celebration.
( RULE ) 1st OFFENSE = MINUS 1 POINT. 2nd OFFENSE = MINUS 1 POINT and the opponent will be allowed to throw at an OPEN BOX after the inning has ended. 3rd OFFENSE = OFFENDER will get a ZERO for that inning and ONLY their OPPONANT plays that inning and receives points. 4th OFFENSE = OFFENDER FORFEITS THE GAME.

4. Annoying Chatter, Cloaked Insults, Trash Talk
( RULE ) No Longer Acceptable.

ADDITIONS
1. Standardized CornBox Slickness Measurement
2. CornBags ReWeighed and Repaired
3. New Logos, Designs, and Paint Schemes
4. Scoring Catagory for 1 point Cornbags
5. Scoring Catagory for Total Points Scored, including those that are Subtracted in game play.

It'll be fun !
I can't wait to start playing again !

RC Cornhole Updates !

Hey gang !

Here's what is in the works.

Eventhough we are not playing right now, as soon as the crazinees of RC getting moved is over, we will be discussing a tournament and possibly a new league.

Here's what has been going on in the meantime.
All the boxes have been resurfaced and painted with various designs and logos.

We will be fixing and or making more cornbags to EXACT specs as well as testing each box for the Universal Slide Measurement.

Here's some images of the new box finishes !
